In the mobile robotics lab there are two robotic platforms designed and built by different researchers working in the laboratory. These are used to carry out research in different fields of computer vision applied to the field of mobile robotics, such as autonomous robot navigation, mapping local obstacle detection, fusion of sensory information, visual localization and qualitative 3D reconstruction of the environment. The conducted research is also related to the identification, modeling the dynamic behavior of robots and control their movement using predictive control techniques. These robotic platforms are also used as a tool for final degree projects.
