Hosted by the <\/span><b>University of Girona<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, this gathering laid the groundwork for the three-year project, fostering collaboration, co-design, and knowledge experience:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In the morning, partners gathered at <\/span><b>UdiGitalEdu<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the research group of the University of Girona coordinating the project, to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Establish <\/span><b>project protocols<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ensuring smooth coordination and collaboration<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plan <\/span><b>dissemination activities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to raise awareness and engage target groups, focusing on secondary multicultural schools<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Co-design <\/span><b>tools for collecting data<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to perform a thorough <\/span><b>current situation analysis<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ensuring that project resources are based on solid the group moved to the <\/span><b>CIRS (Underwater Vision and Robotics Research Centre)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where partners:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participated in <\/span><b>capacity-building workshops<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on low-cost underwater robotics<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Explored innovative STEAM teaching methodologies and practical applications for marine science and technology education<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shared knowledge and experiences regarding <\/span><b>inclusive education principles<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>culturally responsive teaching<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ensuring the DIVE outputs meet the needs of diverse student 400;\">Develop an <\/span><b>inclusive hands-on curriculum<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the fields related to underwater robotics and marine science<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Train <\/span><b>260 teachers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in innovative, interdisciplinary STEAM approaches<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reach <\/span><b>4,000 students<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in multicultural classrooms<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Build a <\/span><b>sustainable network of educators<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> across Spain (Catalonia and Canary Islands), Greece, and Portugal to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Girona kick-off
