Every two years, Oceanology International brings together the <strong>latest technologies<\/strong> and worldwide leaders from a variety of industries including <strong>oil &amp; gas, engineering, marine science and maritime security.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Girona Underwater Vision and Robotics team was present in the exhibition to showcase the two <strong>AUV prototypes<\/strong> developed by the research group (<a href=\"http:\/\/cirs.udg.edu\/auvs-technology\/auvs\/girona-500-auv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Girona 500<\/a> and<a href=\"http:\/\/cirs.udg.edu\/auvs-technology\/auvs\/sparus-ii-auv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Sparus II AUV<\/a>) as well as the different image and sonar data processing capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The stand of the group received many interested visitors throughout the exhibition days thus enhancing the visibility of the group at a global scale and establishing new networking opportunities and\u00a0 new relationships for potential future businesses.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5120\" src=\"http:\/\/vicorob.udg.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/oceanology-team.jpg\" alt=\"oceanology-team\" width=\"785\" height=\"525\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vicorob.udg.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/oceanology-team.jpg 785w, https:\/\/vicorob.udg.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/oceanology-team-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/vicorob.udg.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/oceanology-team-768x514.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 785px) 100vw, 785px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oceanology International is the world leading marine science and ocean technology exhibition.
