{"id":8495,"date":"2023-06-02T12:33:39","date_gmt":"2023-06-02T12:33:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vicorob.udg.edu\/?p=8495"},"modified":"2025-02-18T16:24:27","modified_gmt":"2025-02-18T15:24:27","slug":"deepersense-partners-meeting-in-girona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vicorob.udg.edu\/es\/deepersense-partners-meeting-in-girona\/","title":{"rendered":"DeeperSense Partners Meeting in Girona"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>The DeeperSense team recently got together for the project\u2019s biannual partners meeting, this time held in Girona.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This very productive meeting focused on advances in perception for <strong>underwater robotics<\/strong>, using state-of-the-art deep learning methods specially <strong>developed for sonars and conventional cameras.<\/strong> The meeting brought together members of the <em>German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), the University of Haifa (Israel) and the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW)<\/em>, as well as the <em>UdG.<\/em> The event included several presentations and technical discussions as well as for planning the activities for the last year of the project.
