EU marine robots General Assembly takes place at IFREMER

May 24, 2019

IFREMER (Institut français de recherche pour l’exploitation de la mer) is one of the 15 partners that compose the consortium of EU marine robots (EUMR) H2020 infrastructure project. The Unit for Underwater Systems provides technical systems and related services for the scientific exploration of the deep ocean. The unit englobes 40 technicians, engineers and researchers in a wide scope of skills in underwater technology.

The project team gathered at its facilities in Toulon (France) for a General Assembly meeting, where the progress of the work carried out in the project was assessed.

One of the key elements of EUMR is the possibility for external users to access the partner’s facilities at no cost through a competitive process (TNA calls).
