La cinquena edició del “Dia internacional de la Radiologia” tindrà lloc el proper dimarts dia 8 de novembre. L’esdeveniment és promogut internacionalment per la Societat Europea de Radiologia (ESR), la Societat Radiológica de Nord América (RSNA) i el Colegi Americá de Radiologia (ACR). Aquest any l’atenció es focalitzarà en la imatge de mama.
Des de la Universitat de Girona, amb la coordinació per part de l’Institut ViCOROB, s’organitzarà una jornada divulgativa sobre el cáncer de mama el proper dimarts dia 8 de novembre de 17:30 a 19:30, a la biblioteca Carles Rahola de Girona (Carrer Emili Grahit, 4-6). Amb la presència de diferents agents del territori implicats, es donarà a conèixer a la societat la recerca que es fa a Girona en temes d’imatge de mama. També ens acompanyaran altres professionals involucrats en la investigació mèdica, en l’adquisició i diagnòstic i associacions que donen suport a familiars i amics.

The fifth edition of the “International Day of Radiology” will take place on November 8th. This event, which is internationally supported by the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the America College of Radiology (ACR), is dedicated this year to breast imaging.
In this sense the Universitat de Girona, with the coordination of the research institute VICOROB, will organised an informative talk about breast cancer the following November 8th from 17:30 to 19:30 at the library Carles Rahola of Girona (Carrer Emili Grahit, 4-6). With the presence of different local researchers, this event will describe the general public all breast imaging research undertaken at Girona. Furthermore, other professionals involved within the medical research, image acquisition, breast cancer diagnosis and breast cancer patient associations will discuss their role on breast cancer imaging
